| New housing developments are springing up everywhere
and the attraction of buying a new home are obvious.
New Home Checklist:
- Make sure the builder has a good local or national reputation.
- Before moving into your home make sure you inspect it carefully and
note any defects.
- Once moved in do same and note any further defects, like cracks in
the walls.
- Report any defects to the builder and keep a copy. Talk to the sales
representatives about your complaints.
- Check that the builder is NHBC registered.
